begins with the opening of a new ACE Hardware in the city of Benson, Arizona. The original store opened in December 1995 in an 8,000 sq. ft. location. The store expanded soon after opening to keep pace with the growing area. In September 1999, the original owners decided to retire and sold the company to Kathy and Les Orchekowsky. In December 1999, the opportunity of combining the two largest hardware operations in the area came about. As a result, Benson Ace relocated to the present location at 591 W. 4^th. Street in May of 2000 and combined a complete, up to date, merchandise assortment, along with the many combined years of talented staff experience to serve the area. Today Benson Ace "Helpful Hardware Folks" proudly service customers in a modern 12,000 sq. ft. store along with an outdoor plant nursery area. Throughout the 5 plus years of service to the communities of Benson, St. David, Pomerene and the surrounding area, many friendships have been made by repeat visits to the store for everyday hardware and gardening needs by an ever growing number of customers.

Benson ACE Hardware and Garden Place has always provided the highest level of customer service possible. The Benson ACE Team of "Helpful Hardware Folks" possess the talent of many years of product knowledge along with the genuine interest to serve customers the way they would like to be treated.

Today the store stocks over 27,000 different items and has availability twice a week of over 60,000 items from a nearby ACE Distribution Center.. Special orders are always welcome. Many services are also available at the store. We offer: chain saw sharpening, pipe cutting and threading, screen repair, lumber cutting, re-keying locks, duplicating keys, and custom computer paint color matching. Chain, rope, electric wire, fencing, copper tubing, glass, acrylic sheet, and cable is also cut to your size. Delivery is available upon request.

The store is a proud member of the Benson Chamber of Commerce, the Benson Merchants Association, and supports many area civic clubs, organizations, sports teams, school projects, foundations, and special events.
